LJUBLJANA, July 8 (Reuters) - Police have found and identified the last body from a group who drowned last week, taking the death toll in Slovenia's worst water disaster since its 1991 independence to 13.

Two boats with 14 people aboard capsized during a pleasure trip on Thursday in strong currents on the river Sava at the site of the Blanca hydropower plant, which is under construction, 100 km (60 miles) southeast of the capital Ljubljana. Only one woman survived.

Rescuers identified the last victim on Tuesday -- an official day of mourning in Slovenia -- after a DNA analysis performed in the Croatian capital Zagreb.

The last body was found in Croatia, some 40 km (25 miles) down the river Sava from the site of the accident. All the other bodies were found closer to the accident site. (Reporting by Marja Novak; Editing by Richard Williams)
