(Adds death of British soldier) July 8 - The number of U.S. troops who have died in Iraq has passed 3,600, according to casualty reports released by the military over the weekend. One U.S. soldier was killed by a roadside bomb near his vehicle in Salahuddin province in northern Iraq on Saturday, the U.S. military said. Two U.S. soldiers were killed by a roadside bomb while on foot patrol south of Baghdad on Friday, the military said, bringing to eight the total number killed in Iraq during Thursday and Friday. A British soldier died on Saturday from wounds suffered during a fierce clash in Basra a day earlier, a military spokesman said on Sunday.
