BEIRUT, May 9 (Reuters) - Shi'ite Lebanese group Hezbollah and its allies control all of the mainly Muslim half of Beirut except for one district where pro-government gunmen are in talks to lay down their weapons, a security source said on Friday.

The source said gunmen in Tarek al-Jadeedi, a Sunni Muslim area whose residents are loyal to the governing coalition, were in contact with Hezbollah to surrender.
