ANKARA, Jan 9 (Reuters) - A Moldovan plane carrying around 30 Turkish workers from Turkey to Iraq disappeared from radar screens near Baghdad on Tuesday, a Turkish regional governor said.

"The Antonov-26 plane left Turkey this morning and left radar screens some 100 km (60 miles) away from Baghdad. It may have crashed or had difficulties trying to land," Cahit Kirac, governor of Adana province from where the plane left, told CNN Turk television.
