PRISTINA, Serbia, Feb 10 (Reuters) - U.N. police in Kosovo fired tear gas at thousands of ethnic Albanian protesters trying to break through a police barricade in the capital Pristina on Saturday, a Reuters witness said.

Thousands of activists were demonstrating against a U.N. blueprint unveiled last week on the fate of Serbia's breakaway province, saying it fell short of full independence.
