DUBAI, April 10 (Reuters) - Two people were killed and two policemen were injured in the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday when two trucks laden with confiscated fire crackers exploded in the emirate of Ajman.

"There was no security incident in Dubai, but there was an accident in Ajman," a security source told Reuters in response to a question about rumours of a bombing in regional trade hub Dubai, one of seven emirates in the UAE federation.

The official WAM news agency said the fireworks were confiscated by a court order and were set to be destroyed but exploded accidentally.
