YENAGOA, Nigeria, June 11 (Reuters) - Militants released 12 foreign hostages in Nigeria's oil-producing Niger Delta as a prelude to peace talks with the government, a state government spokesman said.

The released men comprised five Americans, three Britons, two Indians and two others, taken in at least three separate raids in Africa's top oil producer over the last few weeks.
