March 12 (Reuters) - A U.S. marine was killed in combat on Sunday in the western province of Anbar, the U.S. military said. Another U.S. soldier was killed and two wounded by a roadside bomb that hit their patrol during a mission supporting an air assault southwest of Baghdad also on Sunday. A third U.S. soldier was killed by an explosion during fighting in Salah ad Din province, and a fourth died on Sunday in an incident which was not related to combat and is under investigation, the military said.
