BAGHDAD, June 13 (Reuters) - Revered cleric Ali al-Sistani, Iraq's top Shi'ite religious leader, called for restraint on Wednesday after the bombing of an important Shi'ite mosque.

"He condemns the attack and urges calm and not to do acts of reprisal against Sunnis," Sistani's spokesman, Hamed Khafaf, told Reuters.
