BAGHDAD - A U.S. airman was killed and three others were wounded by a roadside bomb in southern Baghdad, the U.S. military said. BAGHDAD - A U.S. soldier was killed and four others were wounded by a roadside bomb in northern Baghdad, the U.S. military said. MOSUL - Five bodies were found in different areas of Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, in the past 24 hours, a hospital source said. BAGHDAD - The bodies of 18 people were found around Baghdad in the past 24 hours, police said. NEAR TIKRIT - Gunmen abducted nine people working for the Baiji oil refinery near Tikrit, 175 km (110 miles) north of Baghdad, police said. BAGHDAD - Two U.S. soldiers were killed and another four wounded when their patrol came under small arms fire southeast of Baghdad, the U.S. military said. NEAR BASRA - One Danish soldier was killed in an ambush north of Basra, 550 km (340 miles) southeast of Baghdad, the Danish military said. The patrol was hit by a roadside bomb and small arms fire. Five other soldiers and an interpreter were wounded. BAGHDAD - A U.S. soldier died of non-combat causes, the U.S. military said.
