SDEROT, Israel, Nov 15 (Reuters) - A rocket fired by Palestinian militants from the Gaza Strip seriously wounded two people in the Israeli town of Sderot on Wednesday, emergency services said.

Militants often fire makeshift rockets in the direction of the town, which is close to the coastal territory.

Israel's MDA ambulance service said medics were treating the two wounded at the scene.
