Car bombs in Baghdad kill 10, wound 50

BAGHDAD, April 15 (Reuters) - At least 10 people were killed and 50 wounded when two car bombs exploded in quick succession in a mostly Shi'ite neighbourhood in southwestern Baghdad on Sunday, police and hospital sources said.

The blasts took place in al-Shurta al-Rabeia near a popular market. Another police source said there had been one car bomb followed by mortar rounds and put the death toll at five dead and 20 wounded.

Hospital sources said 10 dead bodies had been received and that they were treating 50 people wounded.
