JENIN, West Bank, April 17 (Reuters) - Israeli troops killed a Palestinian teenager on Thursday during a raid into the occupied West Bank, local residents and Palestinian security officials said. The officials said the 16-year-old boy was shot by Israeli troops during an exchange of fire, as they surrounded a house where Islamic Jihad militants were held up in the Kabatiya refugee camp near the city of Jenin. An Israeli army spokeswoman said she was checking the report. Israeli forces frequently raid West Bank towns in search of militants suspected of involvement in attacks against the Jewish state.
