American hostage freed in Nigerian oil delta

PORT HARCOURT, Nigeria, Feb 18 (Reuters) - An American engineer and his Nigerian driver, kidnapped in Nigeria's oil-producing Niger Delta, have been released, government and company sources said on Sunday.

The men were seized, together with a Briton. by armed men on their way to work on Jan. 23. The Briton was released on Feb. 7 on health grounds.
