LONDON, July 19 (Reuters) - British anti-terrorism police charged a Jordanian national on Thursday with plotting to carry out failed car bomb attacks in London and Scotland at the end of last month. Mohammed Jamil Asha, 26, who is a doctor, was charged with conspiring with Bilal Abdullah and Kafeel Ahmed to cause explosions. Iraqi-trained doctor Abdullah, 27, has already been charged by British police with the same offence. Indian engineer Ahmed is seriously ill in hospital after being badly burned when a jeep was driven into an airport terminal building in Glasgow, Scotland, on June 30 and set ablaze.
