MOSUL, Iraq, April 22 (Reuters) - Gunmen killed 23 textile factory workers and seriously wounded three after forcing them out of a minibus in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul on Sunday, police and hospital sources said.

Brigadier-General Mohammed al-Waggaa said the gunmen stopped the vehicle and gunned down the employees in the eastern al-Nour district of Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, Iraq's third-largest city. A source at a local hospital said 23 people were killed.
