BAGHDAD, June 23 (Reuters) - Iraq's parliament voted on Saturday to extend its current session until the end of July, thus cutting its scheduled summer holiday by one month, a legislator and another official said.

U.S. officials have been urging parliament to scrap its July-August summer holiday or reduce the two-month break so legislators can focus on passing key draft laws aimed at healing Iraq's deep sectarian divide.
