FACTBOX-Military deaths in Afghanistan

July 23 (Reuters) - One British soldier was killed and two were wounded on Tuesday when their patrol came under attack in southern Afghanistan, Britain's Defence Ministry said on Wednesday.

Here are figures for foreign military deaths as a result of violence or accidents in Afghanistan since the Taliban government was toppled in 2001:

NATO/U.S.-LED COALITION FORCES:

United States 559

Britain 111

Canada 88

Germany 26*

Spain 23

Netherlands 16

Other nations 75

TOTAL: 898
