SOFIA, Oct 24 (Reuters) - Two miners were killed in a landslide at a Bulgarian coal mine on Wednesday, officials said.

The two were trapped some 300 metres underground and, although rescue teams brought them out, their lives could not be saved. No one else was injured, civil defence officials said.

The reason for the incident is being investigated.

In March, an explosion at the mine, 100 km (62 miles) south of Sofia, killed two people and injured nine.
