Strong quake hits Japanese coast, felt in Tokyo

TOKYO, March 25 (Reuters) - A strong earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 7.1 rocked the Sea of Japan coastal area on Sunday, Japan's public broadcaster NHK reported.

The quake was also felt in Tokyo. There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage. A tsunami warning was issued for the Ishikawa prefecture.
