DAVOS, Switzerland, Jan 25 (Reuter) - Attacking Iran to halt its nuclear programme would be "catastrophic" for the region and the world, Pakistan's Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz said on Thursday.

"If there is military action, it will have catastrophic results, not only in the region, but the whole world," Aziz said during a panel discussion on nuclear proliferation at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
