At least 13 dead as Egypt microbus falls into canal

CAIRO, Feb 25 (Reuters) - At least 13 people died in Cairo on Monday when the microbus they were travelling in fell into a canal, security sources said. The cause of the accident was not immediately apparent, they said. Reckless driving, lax traffic rules and poor road conditions contribute to many crashes in Egypt, where a series of fatal road and rail accidents in recent years have caused a public outcry over the government's handling of transport safety.
