CAIRO, Dec 27 (Reuters) - A 26-year-old Egyptian man died of bird flu on Wednesday after 10 days in hospital, an official of the World Health Organisation (WHO) told Reuters. Brick factory worker Rida Farid Abdel Halim was the third member of an extended family in the Nile Delta province of Gharbia to die of the disease, said Hassan el-Bushra, WHO regional adviser for communicable diseases surveillance. It was the 10th death from bird flu in Egypt since an outbreak of the deadly virus started in February.
