Two Latvian soldiers killed, three wounded in Iraq

TALLINN, Dec 27 (Reuters) - Two Latvian soldiers were killed and three were wounded in Iraq on Wednesday when a bomb exploded under their patrol vehicle near Baghdad, the Latvian Defence Ministry said.

The Baltic state has a 113-strong force in Iraq. One Latvian soldier was killed in Iraq in 2004 in a mortar attack.
