Health official says 50 dead in Iraq car bombing

KERBALA, Iraq, April 28 (Reuters) - Fifty people were killed and another 70 were wounded in a car bombing in the holy Iraqi Shi'ite city of Kerbala on Saturday, Kerbala's provincial health spokesman Salim Kadhim told Reuters. "The Hussein General Hospital has received 50 dead and 70 wounded," Kadhim said. Khaled al-Ibrahimi, the head of the Hussein General Hospital in Kerbala, also confirmed that 50 people had died.
