BEIRUT, Nov 30 (Reuters) - Lebanon's Prime Minister Fouad Siniora said on Thursday his government would not resign despite mounting pressure from the Hezbollah-led opposition which was preparing large protests to demand a new cabinet.

"There is no way to topple the government except through parliament which has given it its vote of confidence," Siniora said in a live televised address to the nation.
