April 30 (Reuters) - Following are brief profiles of the five members of Israel's Winograd Commission, whose interim report on Monday on the opening stages of last year's Lebanon war could shape Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's political future. ELIAHU WINOGRAD A former Supreme Court justice and president of the Tel Aviv District Court. Winograd, who chairs the government-appointed commission, retired from the bench 10 years ago. RUTH GAVISON An Israeli jurist with expertise in constitutional law. Gavison has served as chairwoman of the Association for Civil Rights in Israel and professor of international law at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. YEHEZKEL DROR A public policy expert, Dror served as adviser to late Israeli prime minister Yitzhak Rabin. He has lectured abroad on management and decision-making doctrines. MENACHEM EINAN A retired Israeli army general who commanded a field division in Israel's 1982 Lebanon invasion and now presides over the Azrieli conglomerate, which has built several shopping malls in Israel. HAIM NADEL A retired Israeli army general who was operations chief during the 1967 Middle East War, and later served as president of the military appeals court. Nadel has also written extensively on defence doctrines.
