Jan 30 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq at 1530 GMT on Wednesday. * denotes new or updated items. * DIYALA - U.S. soldiers killed four suspected militants north of Baquba, 65 km (40 miles) north of Baghdad, and detained two others on Wednesday during raids against al Qaeda, the U.S. military said. A weapons cache and materials used to make explosives were also found, it said. * MOSUL - Gunmen killed Khalil Ibrahim, a university professor from the Islamic Sciences College, in a drive-by shooting in Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, police said. Another person in the car was seriously wounded. * BAGHDAD - Three suspected militants, including a suspected al Qaeda weapons smuggler, were detained in Baghdad, the U.S. military said. Two others were detained west of Tarmiyah, 30 km (20 miles) north of Baghdad. * SALMAN PAK - U.S. soldiers detained eight suspected militants south of Salman Pak, 45 km (25 miles) south of Baghdad, the U.S. military said. Three others were detained in northern Tikrit. BAGHDAD - The bodies of three people were found in different areas of Baghdad on Tuesday, police said. BALAD - A cameraman working for a Shi'ite satellite television channel and his driver were killed by a roadside bomb near the town of Balad, 80 km (50 miles) north of Baghdad, officials from the channel said. Two others were wounded. BAGHDAD - Five people were killed and two wounded when a roadside bomb exploded near their vehicle on the southern outskirts of Baghdad on Tuesday, police said. TUZ KHURMATO - The beheaded bodies of two brothers were found in the town of Tuz Khurmato, 180 km (110 miles) north of Baghdad, police said. They had been kidnapped by gunmen a week ago. BAGHDAD - A policeman was killed and five wounded by a roadside bomb targeting their patrol near al-Mustanssiriya Square in eastern Baghdad, police said. BAGHDAD - Five police commandos and two civilians were wounded by a roadside bomb in eastern Baghdad's al-Ghadir district, police said. BAGHDAD - Three people were wounded by a mortar attack in western Baghdad's Mansour district, police said.
