Mauritania captures five al Qaeda suspects - source

NOUAKCHOTT, April 30 (Reuters) - Mauritanian security forces captured five suspected al Qaeda militants on Wednesday accused of involvement in the killing four French tourists and attacking the Israeli embassy in Nouakchott, a security source said.

"Several searches are under way and those detained have been transferred to a high security location," said the source, who asked not to be named. (Reporting by Vincent Fertey)
