FACTBOX-Industrial nations' output of greenhouse gases

Nov 1 (Reuters) - Delegates from 189 nations will meet in Nairobi from Nov. 6-17 for annual talks about ways to fight global warming while emissions of greenhouse gases are rising in industrial nations.

All countries except the United States, Australia, Turkey and Croatia are parties to the Kyoto Protocol, under which 35 nations and the European Union have to cut emissions by about 5 percent below 1990 levels by 2008-12. Belarus does not yet have a target under Kyoto.
