Sept 3 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq at 1000 GMT on Wednesday.

BAGHDAD - U.S. troops killed six Iraqi security personnel and wounded 10 in Tarmiya, just north of Baghdad, police said, in what the U.S. military said was a mistake. The U.S. military said its casualty figures were lower, but details were not immediately available.

MOSUL - A suicide car bomber targeting an Iraqi army patrol killed one soldier and wounded three on Tuesday in Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

MOSUL - Two Iraqi soldiers were wounded when a roadside bomb exploded near their patrol in western Mosul, police said.

MOSUL - Gunmen killed an Iraqi soldier in western Mosul on Tuesday, police said.

MOSUL - Gunmen killed a man near his house in eastern Mosul on Tuesday, police said.
