BAGHDAD, Oct 4 (Reuters) - Two U.S. Blackhawk helicopters crashed while landing in northern Baghdad on Saturday, the U.S. military said.

One Iraqi soldier was killed and two American and two Iraqi soldiers were wounded in the crashes, which took place as the helicopters were landing in northern Baghdad, military spokesman Lieutenant Patrick Evans said in an e-mail sent to Reuters. He said hostile fire was not immediately suspected in the incident.
