(Adds Netanyahu procedures completed, results normal) JERUSALEM, Oct 4 (Reuters) - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu underwent medical tests on Sunday and was expected to resume normal routine later in the day, his office said. Netanyahu, 59, was put under "mild anaesthesia for a short time" for a colonoscopy of the lower intestinal tract and a cystoscopy of the bladder at the Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem. the statement said. It said the examinations were follow-up procedures after the removal of a benign intestinal polyp a year ago and the removal of a benign polyp in his bladder some 30 years ago, and that the results of Sunday's tests were "normal."
