GAZA, Nov 4 (Reuters) - Israeli troops moved into the Gaza Strip on Tuesday in a rare raid since a ceasefire was declared in June, Hamas security officials in the coastal territory said. Palestinian residents in the area of the al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip reported seeing Israeli soldiers 300 metres inside Gaza. They also heard shots fired from Israeli military vehicles on the Israeli side of the border fence and the buzz of unmanned drones overhead. The residents said Hamas gunmen had responded by firing at the troops. There were no initial reports of casualties.
