JERUSALEM, Jan 7 (Reuters) - Israel will set up a "humanitarian corridor" to counter a crisis caused by its offensive in the Gaza Strip, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's office said on Wednesday. It said the measure was proposed by Israeli military chiefs and would entail granting periodic access to various areas of the strips to allow Palestinians to stock up on vital goods.
