Aug 6 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq at 2100 GMT on Thursday.

* KIRKUK - A bomb in a parked car near a crowded market killed five people and wounded 30 others in Kirkuk, 250 km (155 miles) north of Baghdad, a hospital source said. Police gave a lower toll of three killed, 18 wounded.

* MOSUL - A body with bullet wounds was found in northern Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

* MOSUL - A bomb placed at the doorstep of a Christian family home wounded two women in east Mosul, police said.

* BAGHDAD - A bomb planted at a house abandoned due to sectarian strife killed the owner when he returned to inspect it in the south Baghdad district of Doura, police said.

BAGHDAD - A bomb attached to a car killed a Shi'ite Muslim pilgrim and wounded another three when it exploded in the south Baghdad district of Doura, police said. Pilgrims will on Friday mark the birth of Shi'ite Islam's twelfth imam.

MOSUL - Two militants were killed and a third was wounded when a bomb they were carrying inside their car exploded in western Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

MOSUL - Gunmen in a speedy car killed a woman in western Mosul, north of Baghdad, police said.

MOSUL - Gunmen killed a civilian inside his home in western Mosul, north of Baghdad, police said.

BAGHDAD - Two successive roadside bombs wounded three civilians in Baghdad's western district of Mansour on Wednesday, police said.

TELKEIF - A bomb attached to a vehicle killed one person and wounded two in Telkeif town, on the northern outskirts of Mosul city, north of Baghdad, on Wednesday, police said.
