BAGHDAD, Nov 6 (Reuters) - The United States has accepted some of Iraq's proposals to change a security pact governing the presence of U.S. troops, but rejected others, Iraqi government spokesman Ali al-Dabbagh said on Thursday. The pact would replace a U.N. Security Council mandate which expires at the end of this year. Baghdad and Washington agreed a text last month, but Iraq demanded amendments, including tighter language committing U.S. forces to withdraw by the end of 2011, and clarifying when U.S. troops could be tried in Iraqi court.
