L'AQUILA, Italy, April 7 (Reuters) - A 5.6 magnitude earthquake struck the central Italian area hit by Monday's devastating quake that killed more than 200 people, the U.S. Geological Survey said on Tuesday. The aftershock, the most powerful since Monday's 5.8 to 6.3 magnitude quake, felled structures in the already battered medieval city of L'Aquila and was felt as far away as Rome, witnesses said. An official with Italy's Civil Protection Agency said there were no immediate reports of injuries resulting from the latest seismic activity.
