FACTBOX-Security developments in Iraq, July 8

July 8 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq at 1800 GMT on Wednesday.

KIRKUK - Gunmen shot and injured a member of the local infrastructure police just south of Kirkuk, 250 km (155 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

HAWIJA - Police arrested a man in Hawija, 210 km (130 miles) north of Baghdad, who they believe was responsible for a recent bombing in the area.

* MUSSAYAB - A suicide bomber attacked a wedding party, killing three people and wounding 18 in Mussayab, 60 km (40 miles) south of Baghdad, police said.

MOSUL - An Iraqi soldier was killed at an army checkpoint in Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

ZUMMAR - Two civilians were killed when their car exploded in Zummar, north of Mosul in Nineveh province. Police said they may have been transporting explosives.

MOSUL - Police open fired in Mosul, killing one civilian in a car, police said. It was not immediately clear why the police fired.

MOSUL - One police was wounded when gunmen opened fire on a checkpoint in Mosul, police said.

MOSUL - Gunmen opened fire on Iraqi soldiers, wounding one, police said.

MOSUL - A roadside bomb wounded a civilian in Mosul, police said.

MOSUL - A roadside bomb wounded a woman in Mosul, police said.

MOSUL - A roadside bomb wounded a woman when it exploded overnight in Mosul, police said.
