Aug 13 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq at 1000 GMT on Wednesday.

* KHAN BANI SAAD - A roadside bomb killed one woman and wounded two in the town of Khan Bani Saad, near Baquba in Diyala province, north of Baghdad, police said.

BAGHDAD - A U.S. soldier and an Iraqi interpreter were killed when a roadside bomb hit their vehicle in northwestern Baghdad, the U.S. military said.

MOSUL - A suicide car bomber struck an Iraqi army patrol in the northern city of Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, killing an Iraqi soldier, two civilians and wounding 15 people, the U.S. military said

QAIYARA - At least one person was killed and six wounded by a parked car bomb in Qaiyara, 290 km (180 miles) north of Baghdad, police said. The U.S. military said two were killed and nine wounded.

NEAR KIRKUK - A suicide car bomb wounded Abdul Karim al-Jubouri, the mayor of the small town of al-Moltaqa southwest of Kirkuk. Three of his bodyguards were also hurt when the bomber struck the mayoralty building, police said. Jubouri is the leader of a U.S.-backed neighbour patrol in the town.
