PARIS, Nov 14 (Reuters) - French President Nicolas Sarkozy and Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva joined forces on Saturday to step up pressure for an agreement at next month's climate change meeting in Copenhagen. Here are the main points of the joint document announced after a meeting between the two leaders in Paris on Saturday. - Industrialised countries should outline emission pathways consistent with the goal of reducing emissions by at least 80 percent from their 1990 levels by 2050. - Countries outside the group of so-called "Annex 1" group of industrialised countries should pursue low carbon growth by implementing "nationally appropriate mitigation actions", supported by funding help by richer countries. - Developing countries should also reduce the rate at which their greenhouse gas emissions rise. - Developing countries threatened by damaging effects of climate change, particularly poor and vulnerable African countries, to be given "significant" financial help. - Increased cooperation on research and technology between developed and developing countries. - Increased efforts to cut emissions from deforestation in developing countries. - An international organisation for the environment and sustainable development to be created.
