Jan 18 (Reuters) - Israel said it will cease fire in the Gaza Strip from 2 a.m. (0000 GMT) on Sunday.

Following are some facts and figures about the conflict, and some comparisons with a previous Israeli war against Hezbollah guerrillas in Lebanon in 2006.

Figures are accurate as of 2300 GMT on Jan 17.
