FACTBOX-Military deaths in Afghanistan

Aug 21 (Reuters) - Three soldiers from the NATO-led force were killed in a roadside bomb blast in eastern Afghanistan, the alliance said on Thursday, the latest foreign casualties in a week of rising violence.

Here are figures for foreign military deaths as a result of violence or accidents in Afghanistan since the Taliban government was toppled in 2001:

Canada 90

Germany 26*

Spain 23

Netherlands 16

Other nations 65

TOTAL: 938
