Earthquake hits Mexico's Pacific coast

MEXICO CITY, Sept 1 (Reuters) - A strong earthquake hit Mexico's Pacific Coast on Saturday, but no damage was immediately reported.

The epicenter of the 6.3 earthquake was in the Gulf of Mexico, 61 miles (99 km) from Los Mochis in the state of Sinaloa, at a depth of 35 miles (56 km), the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
