Nov 1 (Reuters) - According to a new report for the U.S. Congress, noteworthy arms deliveries to Asia from 2002 to 2005 included: * From Russia: 290 tanks and self-propelled guns, 180 armored personnel carriers and armored cars, three major surface warships, five submarines, 180 supersonic combat aircraft, 90 helicopters, 410 surface-to-air missiles and 180 anti-ship missiles. * From the United States: 105 artillery pieces, six major surface warships, eight supersonic combat aircraft, 38 helicopters, 1,558 surface-to-air missiles and 182 anti-ship missiles. * From the four major West European suppliers as a group (France, Britain, Germany, Italy): one major surface warship, 20 supersonic combat aircraft and 20 helicopters.
