Conoco Belle Chasse workers burned by steam-official

HOUSTON, July 3 (Reuters) - Three workers were burned by steam at ConocoPhillips' <COP.N> 247,000 barrel per day refinery in Belle Chasse, Louisiana, on Thursday afternoon, a sheriff's department official said.

Two of the workers were taken to local hospitals and the third man was flown to a hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, said Maj. John Marie of the Plaquemines Parish sheriff's office. (Reporting by Erwin Seba)
