Hurricane Felix weakens further in Central America

PUERTO CABEZAS, Nicaragua, Sept 4 (Reuters) - Hurricane Felix weakened to a Category 1 storm as it crashed through Nicaragua on Tuesday, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said.

Felix earlier hit the Caribbean coastline of Nicaragua and Honduras as a Category 5 hurricane, the most powerful type of storm.
