Six seriously injured on Air Canada flight

CALGARY, Alberta, Jan 10 (Reuters) - Six passengers face potentially life-threatening injuries after an Air Canada plane made an emergency landing at Calgary airport on Thursday.

The six have head and spinal injuries and were taken off the plane in stretchers, said Stuart Brideaux, spokesman for Calgary Emergency Medical Services. (Reporting by Jeffrey Jones, writing by Scott Haggett; Editing by Peter Galloway)
