Mideast Quartet to meet July 19 in Lisbon - UN

UNITED NATIONS, July 13 (Reuters) - The "Quartet" of Middle East negotiators will meet in Lisbon on July 19, the United Nations said on Friday.

The Quartet consists of the United Nations, the United States, Russia and the European Union.

U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and other Quartet representatives will confer with their newly appointed envoy, former British prime minister Tony Blair, on ways of assisting the Palestinian Authority, U.N. spokeswoman Marie Okabe said at a news briefing.
