WASHINGTON, June 13 (Reuters) - The United States said on Saturday that North Korea must stop its "provocative" actions and return immediately to stalled six-party talks on its nuclear program.

In response to new U.N. sanctions agreed to on Friday, Pyongyang said it would start a uranium enrichment program and vowed to weaponize all of its plutonium.

"(North Korea) needs to cease provocative actions and rhetoric, and return unconditionally to the six-party process," said a State Department official, when asked to comment on the latest threats from North Korea. (Reporting by Sue Pleming, editing by Will Dunham)
